Safety Links can provide you with a turnkey Drug Free Workplace solution for your organization meeting all federal and state regulations for regulated and non-regulated drug testing. When completed your company will qualify as a Florida Drug Free Workplace Program (FAC 440.102)

When completed, your company will qualify as a Florida Drug Free Workplace Program (FAC 440.102) and will be eligible to obtain the 5% workers compensation discount.

 

What we do?
  • We will assist you with expressing your company’s planned response to the possession or use or abuse of illegal and controlled substances.
  • We will make sure you are compliant with terms and conditions of the Florida Drug Free Workplace statutes and other federal DOT mandates.
We will do this by:
  • Reviewing/revising your current drug-free workplace policy, or creating a new one.
  • Helping you decide which manager/department will operate/enforce your program.
  • Helping  you determine what kind of drug testing (if any) are mandated by law or are most desirable in view of your company’s objectives…and which employees will be covered and under what circumstances.
  • Helping you select a qualified testing facility/collection site, method of testing and explain the different types of testing, as follows:
    • Pre-employment
    • Reasonable Suspicion
    • Post accident
    • Random
    • Follow up/ return to duty
  • Providing the documents/forms you will need to utilize to implement the program.
  • Determining what form of employee assistance will be available to those that self-refer and those that are intercepted.
  • Advising managers and supervisors to become pro-active in implementing the program.
  • Conducting worker training meeting the federal DOT requirements
  • Helping you establish a system to monitor the program and assure confidentiality of all records and test results.
