Course Introduction/ Synopsis:
When work is performed on elevated surfaces or during construction activities, protection against falls must be considered. Employers are required to provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program must provide each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and then provide solutions to minimize these hazards.
Course Details:
This interactive session provides participants with an understanding of how to use conventional fall protection including rails, and personal fall arrest devices.
Topics include:
- Relevant OSHA regulations
- Hierarchy of fall protection
- Requirements for and uses of conventional fall protection
- Covers, rails, personal fall arrest devices

How long is the certification good for?
These courses do not expire however retraining is recommended every 3 years due to changes in regulations, standards and technology.

This is a two (2) hour awareness level training designed for users of personal fall protection equipment.
