Course Introduction/ Synopsis:
This course has been designed to give operators of aerial lifts including scissor lifts, boom lifts and articulating boom lifts the knowledge they need to protect people, equipment, materials, and environment.
This course meets and/ or exceeds OSHA's aerial lift standards for construction and general industry 29 CFR 1910.67and 1926.453.
Topics include:
Introduction, incident reports, OSHA regulations, lift usage principles, inspection and maintenance, preventing overturns, preventing falls, preventing electrical power line contact, basic operational practices.
How long is the certification good for?
Retraining is recommended every 3 years due to changes in regulations, standards and technology.
What is the length of the course?
Our aerial lift operator course is approximately 3 hours long including both classroom and practical components.
