Did you know that if you have been hired to work in the mining industry, you are considered a "miner" under the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977. This course is designed to meet MSHA Part 46 requirements. Part 46 applies to shell dredging, sand, gravel, surface stone, surface clay, colloidal phosphate, and surface limestone mines.
