Course Introduction/ Synopsis:
The OSHA Outreach Training Program is OSHA’s primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. Through the program OSHA authorized trainers such as Safety Links teach 10-hour and 30-hour courses in construction or general industry.

What topics are covered in the Construction Courses?
Introduction to OSHA, Electrical, Fall Protection and the mandatory caught in and struck by topics. In addition we will tailor the remaining time depending upon your company needs: Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators and Conveyers, Recordkeeping, Scaffolding, Signs, Signals and Barricades, Motor Vehicles, Mechanized Equipment, Construction Equipment, Materials Handling/ Storage Scaffolding, Excavations, Stairways/ Ladders, Plus any other safety topic of your choice.
How long is the course certification good for?
This course does not expire however retraining is recommended every 3 years due to changes in regulations, standards and technology.
What is the length of the course?
OSHA 10 hour courses are 10 hours of training.
Note:
OSHA has revised its Outreach Training Program Guidelines to require authorized trainers to limit courses to a maximum of 7 hours per day. This means that all 10-hour courses must be taught over a minimum of two days. If someone is offering to do your class in 1 day you may want to question their integrity and the quality of their training!!
