The Encouraging Desired Behavior course is designed to teach participants how to develop systems that will encourage behavior that is conducive to Safety and Quality.

Ergonomics is a body of knowledge about human abilities, human limitations and human characteristics that are relevant to design. Ergonomic design is the application of this body of knowledge to the design of tools, machines, systems, tasks, jobs, and environments for safe, comfortable and effective human use.

Incidents don’t just happen. They are caused! Therefore the overall objective of this course is to present an analytical approach to incident investigations so you can discover the causes of incidents and prevent re-occurrence.

A Hazard Assessment or Job Hazard Analysis is a fundamental tool used to review your processes so that potential hazards can be proactively identified and then controlled.

Industrial hygiene is the discipline of reducing worker injury due to chemical and other exposure hazards. This course will teach employees the background, principles and role of industrial hygiene.

This introduction to Industrial Hygiene course is designed to provide students with an understanding of industrial hygiene practices and principles. Students will learn to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and control health hazards in the workplace and then have an opportunity to participate in exercises that will allow them to practice their new skills.
