Course Introduction/ Synopsis:
Industrial hygiene is the discipline of reducing worker injury due to chemical and other exposure hazards. This course will teach employees the background, principles and role of industrial hygiene.
The introduction to Industrial Hygiene course is designed to provide students with an understanding of industrial hygiene practices and principles. Students will learn to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and control health hazards in the workplace and then have an opportunity to participate in exercises that will allow them to practice their new skills.
