Testimonials

Safety Partnership

Habitat for Humanity Orlando would like to again thank you for inspecting our Habitat Restore, Habitat warehouse and our construction sites and for providing us with a review of where we were with regards to safety and OSHA requirements along with a plan to bring us into compliance.  Your monthly news letters and website provide us with much needed information on recalled safety equipment and subjects for our construction safety meetings.

Terry Eckert- Habitat for Humanity Orlando
I highly recommend Safety Links Inc. for all your safety needs. Their commitment to service exceeds all expectations and the personal response I receive on all safety issues is unparalleled. Safety Links Inc. is and will continue to be the only safety partner we use.

Nate Simpson- Jr. Davis Construction Company Inc.
At Sea Ray Boats, Merritt Island, FL we have had nothing but positive experiences with Safety Links. Not only have we used them for some of our training needs but it is the peace of mind knowing we can pick up the phone at any time and ask for help with our needs. That is service after the sale in our minds. Their ability to give us advice and consultation is great. We have recommended them to other companies that have had good experiences with them also. We highly recommend them for all training and service needs to all who need them. We look forward to many future trainings and needs to be met by Safety Links. Thanks Randy and Trevor

Randy Sheppard- Sea Ray Boats, Inc.
The City of St. Cloud has been working with Safety Links since early 2007.   We have found their training and safety classes, both on our job sites as well as outside classes, to be extremely valuable in preparing our employees for a safe work ethic. The instructors are well educated and well versed in a huge variety of issues and we will continue to use their services in the future.

Cathy Miller- City of St. Cloud Utilities
Trevor, it has been about three years since I met you at a bi-annual Continuing Education Class. In that two day, too long, totaling boring exercise that the State of Florida mandates all contractors endure, you were the ONLY animated, interesting and informative instructor of the whole bunch.

Since then, I have had many of my employees attend various courses with Safety Links and have also had several of your instructors do onsite training at our facility. You and your staff have always delivered what I, as a conscientious and concerned employer, need for my employees to safely operate in today’s work environment.

Please accept this letter as a sincere Thank You for your professionalism and expertise from all of us at Sun Plumbing. My employees are now more conscientious; consider safety to be an ongoing process in our daily operation, and, the best part, our Workers Comp Mod Rates are continually going lower.

I truly feel the “cost” of safety training is returned many times over in actual cash savings, but more so in the self confidence, the peace of mind, and the lack of injuries and exposure issues.

My Best Wishes to you and your staff.

Steven W. Rutherford President/Owner- Sun Plumbing.
The Florida Municipal Association for Safety and Health (FMASH) works in conjunction with Safety Links to provide safety training, focusing on the specific needs of Florida’s municipal workers.  Safety Links consistently provides an outstanding learning experience for class participants, as it helps each participant attain their safety training goals.  FMASH has seen through the years that Safety Links’ class instructors are very informative, the course work is comprehensive and participants enjoy attending Safety Links’ classes!  We are looking forward to our FMASH 2010 Training Program.

Since joining the Safety Links partnership in the spring of 2007, the City of St.Cloud has been very pleased with the responsiveness and wealth of knowledge that has been provided to help us with our safety program.  We especially like the individualized training we are receiving.

Thank you for the excellent defensive driving presentation you gave to our Superintendents February 1,2007. You struck a fine balance between the factual material and the mind boggling film of some actual crashes. You also presented some interesting stories and anecdotes which were very appropriate. I have attended some other presentations on this subject but yours was far and away the best. I'm certain all of our employees will be more aware of the importance of defensive driving. Keep up the good work.

We want to thank Trevor Reschny and Safety Links Inc., for their professional and friendly approach in helping us to establish our safety program here at High & Low Electric Inc. We are truly being educated about safety matters in a much more in depth way than what we have typically known. The classes are very informative with a light and interactive approach that is enjoyable. We are being equipped to understand the root issues and attitudes concerning safety and not just following a list of rules. We have also appreciated the prompt response to the many questions we have had as we organize our safety program. We are proud to be on the path to becoming a safer work place by providing our employees an environment that promotes personal safety for the benefit of all. We also look forward to being recognized in our community as a company that has received its Certificate of Safety Recognition.

Safety Links and the Partnership for Incident Prevention Program are committed to providing the construction industry trades with valuable tools and resources to achieve success while managing their workplace safety programs. The opportunity to learn and share information with other safety professionals is a great asset and Safety Links’ “Safety Partners” seminars are extremely beneficial in keeping me up-to-date on issues that are crucial to the industry. Instead of doing tons of research, calling and canvassing, Safety Links is the one place where I can get current, reliable and accurate information by calling or visiting their website. Their courteous and helpful staff is always willing to provide assistance at a moments notice.

Collis Roofing, Inc.
Nino Ramirez, Director of Safety and Insurance

First of all I would like to say thanks for all of your help. We could not have achieved all that we have if not for you. You will still get calls from me from time to time so don't think were finished with you. When I accepted the position as Safety Manager I thought it was going to be tough. Not having any background in the construction field. Being a PIP member made it easy for me. I attended Florida Safety Links safety training which has been a big asset to me and our company. Our on the job injuries have gone way down along the their severity. Getting our workers to work safely has greatly improved. Who would have ever thought that we could get every worker to wear a hard hat. We did it. Not just hard hats but a lot of other good safe work habits. It just takes time and training. I highly recommend that if you are in the construction field or own a business of any kind small or large that you become a PIP member. Florida Safety Links can help you with your safety program.

Kenny Moss, Safety Manager

We have had a number of individual take courses offered by Florida Safety Links, Inc. We have found these courses to comprehensive, educational, and informative. Beyond that, they have enabled us to develop a comprehensive safety program by supporting its development and providing trained employees educated about safety - all with a common perspective. This training has open are eyes about safety. We now think of safety as much more controllable by our actions and policies. One of our goals is to obtain our Certificate of Recognition and we believe we will achieve that goal in the very near future.

It is our belief this emphasis on safety will result in a reduced level of injuries sustained by our employees. We will gain great satisfaction in this result and a reduction in the cost associated with these injuries.

Compliance with the legal requirements of safety was not necessarily a goal because we were not fully aware of these requirements or the cost exposure of non compliance. We now have much more complete understanding of these requirements and responsibilities

Weathermaster Building Products Inc
Ken Kepley, VP Weathermaster Building Products Inc.

The “Safety Partners” is excellent. It makes sure that Builders and subcontractors are on the same page with it comes to safety issues. The training is excellent. The training really drives home the safety issues with the employees that have attended. Employees and our subcontractors now realize that our safety program/policy structure is to keep them safe while performing their jobs. If you have any question no matter how small or dumb you may think it is, Trevor Reschny will answer it, usually while you are on the phone or in person with him. Occasionally, he may have to research the answer, but the turnaround time for the answer is usually 24-48 hours. I recommend this program to all business in the construction industry and all key personnel of these businesses. This program is well worth the money and time spent in training personnel.

Mr. Foamy of Central Florida, LLC
Elena Davis, Mr. Foamy of Central Florida, LLC

Although most people in the building industry feel “they already know everything about safety” and don’t need a program, nothing could be farther from the truth, as those of us who have achieved our Certificate of Recognition can attest. Since receiving our COR, our company has received a number of calls from new clients that plan to use our company to build their pools.. Our company Is a better company for organizing and developing this program. We have put in place all of the policies and procedures for our employees as well as requiring our 150 sub-contractors to adhere to the same high standards.

Another facet of the program that is somewhat unique-involves Trevor and his unique training ability and experience. He provides numerous training programs not only for the safety program but also for required re-certification in the building industry. American Pools and Spas took advantage of this and most of our employees were certified in first-aid and CPR as well as numerous other courses. Trevor also serves as a consultant as time permits.

Through the efforts of Trevor, we are provided with numerous resources from which we can draw new state-of—the-art equipment and supplies which can not only make our businesses safer but also more cost effective. Trevor also serves on the Home Builders Safety Council and provides vital information and leadership for this organization.

Kudos to Trevor and his many successful programs. I would encourage, no insist, that those who have not successfully achieved your Certificate of Recognition do it immediately, you will be glad you did.

David Evans, Director of Safety-American Pools and Spas

I wanted to take a moment for all of your help and guidance in developing our upgraded Health & Safety Plan. In mid-2005, our company committed to making safety our top priority but we struggled trying to get on course. Your support gave us a clearer understanding of the processes and enabled to determine how to achieve our goal.

This spring, we not only completed the project but we have also successfully obtained our Certificate of Recognition. Now that we have increased our awareness and implemented our new policy, our entire organization is actively involved and we have not had a single reportable incident in the past nine months.

Thank you, Trevor. There is no way to know what your input may have saved us in accidents, injuries and dollars. We wish you continued success and we look forward to working with you in the years to come.

I attended the Safety Links course in Orlando, Florida. The course was excellent…. I left with a profound impact on my feelings towards safety and the callous attitude that so many people have regarding safety rules and regulations….[the class] brought tears to my eyes and placed a lump in my throat. Thank you for allowing me to attend. This one course has already changed my life…

Mike Whitfield-Builders First Source.

KB Home Orlando recently had members of our construction team participate in the OSHA 10 Hour Certification course taught by Trevor Reschny of Safety Links. Trevor is able to break down the complexities of safety regulations and present the practical side to creating a safe working environment. Through realistic and real world examples, Trevor was able to present the concepts of construction safety and keep the participants engaged throughout the entire course.

I n this industry, it is critical that our employees know the safety regulations and this class provided an opportunity for our construction team to learn from a qualified instructor who provided important and practical information on how to implement them. Participating in this course was a very cost effective way to educate KB Home employees and increase our safety awareness.

In addition to the training Trevor presented to KB Home, he has provided countless hours of training associated with the Metro Orlando PIP (Partnership for Incidence Prevention) Program. While this program is voluntary for the construction industry in the Orlando area, KB Home Orlando has taken steps to make participation mandatory for all of our construction trade partners.

Thank you for participating in the first annual FMASH conference. Your presentation gave a lot of insight into how to address safety programs at work. The key to maintaining a safe environment is in making safety the expectation and not the exception. Thank you again for sharing your time and expertise.

Annual Survey  Comments

September 2009
I have found all of the free safety seminars to have at least one topic that was very relevant to any industry, which makes them all worth attending. The safety links staff at these seminars always exhibit such wonderful customer service etiquette.
I have attended a few Safety Links free seminars and have paid for one of the seminars at a Non-member rate; I have obtained good information/ knowledge and have incorporated it into our safety program; Unfortunately we are currently paying another provider and for budget reasons cannot add another safety provider, but I see programs that might help me and our company; our company has been willing to pay the Non-member rate on a case by case basis. (The Non-member rate is very reasonable for smaller companies)
Safety Links is hands down the best company of its kind out there. I can’t even tell you how much they have helped me with the difficult job
